How to Attend the 2023 World Cup

The next edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup will be played in 2023 in India. The tournament is still a few years away, but the most die-hard fans are already planning how to visit the games.

Very little is still known about the teams and players who will attend the event. The Super League will last until 2022, and the Qualifying Match is only going to take place after the Super League has been played. Until then, the composition of the team can still change, and the strategies can develop significantly.

We do not even know the exact locations where the games will take place. There is still much to happen before the tournament. And the qualifying cricket leagues and events will be a thrilling experience in their own right, as well. Read here how you can prepare in time for the games.

How to Plan for 2023

2023 will be the first time the World Cup is hosted by India alone, though it has been arranged before in South Asia. This alone can be a good reason to attend for many people. India is a vast country with a fascinating history and culture, as well as a world-class culinary tradition. It is a massively popular tourism destination, and not without reason.

India hosts a multitude of large cricket stadiums that meet the ICC standards. While it has not been disclosed where the games will take place, most stadiums are within a reasonable distance from important monuments and attractions – now is the time to get the travel guide.

Cricket is less like a sport and more like a religion in South Asia. The venues will be packed, and it can be a good idea to arrange for accommodation and transport well in advance, lest the hotels fill up before the event.
